Privacy policy
Last updated 31 August 2026
Draft policy — this wording has not yet been reviewed. Questions about it go to the event host.
What we collect
Names, email addresses and team details when you enter or are added to a team; scores and results when you compete; login records when you sign in. Payment card details go directly to Paystack — we never see or store them, only the payment reference and status.
Why (POPIA processing grounds)
To run the event you entered: confirming payment, building heats, recording scores, publishing results, and emailing you what you need (login links, team invites). Results — your name, division and scores — are public: leaderboards are the point of racing. We don’t sell personal information or use it for third-party marketing.
Where it lives
Data is hosted with our processors: Neon (database, EU region), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email) and Paystack (payments), each under their own safeguards.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information (deletion of published results may be limited by the legitimate interest in complete standings). Contact the host affiliate or Game Day to exercise these rights or to complain to the Information Regulator.
