Terms of entry & waiver

Entry

An entry buys your team one place in one division of one event. The captain enters and pays for the whole team; teammates join by invite. Each athlete may hold one entry per event. Entries are personal — no resale or transfer without the host affiliate’s agreement.

Assumption of risk

Fixed-format fitness racing is strenuous physical activity carrying real risk of injury. By entering, every athlete on the team confirms they are physically able to compete, participates voluntarily and at their own risk, and accepts that Game Day, the host affiliate, and their staff and judges are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under South African law.

Medical

You warrant that you have no medical condition that makes competing unsafe. Event staff may withdraw any athlete on safety grounds; that decision is final and carries no refund beyond the refund policy.

Results and scoring

Judges’ scores, corrections and voids, and the leaderboards derived from them, are administered by the host affiliate. The event host’s decision on results is final.

Media

Events are photographed and filmed. By competing you consent to appearing in event media used to cover and promote Game Day events.
